I love Halloween

Made this shadow box for my mom.  I wll make another one for me.

Shadow box is from $1 store and is not quite 7x7.   Come as raw wood.  I painted black.  Most the images are cut from Happy Hauntings.  The bottle of blood is just glossy accents with some red food coloring.

Halloween Countdown

This is a project from Creative Escape that I went to in August. Figured I'd better get it done before October 1st.

Canvas and most the products are from Canvas Corp with some Bazzill paper, Ranger Inks and Stampers Anonymous Stamps

Last night we picked our peach tree

so today must be Peach Pie Day.

My first Halloween/fall project

Saw these at my craft store and thought I would make something.

and ended up with this.

LOOK WHAT I GOT TODAY.

I have a store called Craft Warehouse.  I go there as much as I can.  It is an hour away.  Anyway I was there about 11:30 this morning went back one more time on my way home.  The gal that runs the scrapping department asked if I wanted this:

So - for the rock bottom price of $54.05 I got an Accu Cut, 13 big dies and an alpha set, upper and lower case.

So it's a start.....

We are moving soon.

All gone and on it's way to recycle bin.

Creative Escape - Wow

Here is the young man whose idea made it possible for me to go to Creative Escape.

I made 60 cards and sent them to Bazzill, for that I got 12 entries to the drawing to win 2 tickets.

And.......they picked me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DINA!

I made this for one of the Pita Babes.  Her birthday is July 31.  She got it in the mail today so now I can show you all.  There are more Pita Babes but they didn't get their pics to me sooooooo.  Send them to Dina and she can add to the book

SIMPLE as in plain and easy CD mini

So I have a pile of old CD's.  I am bad at throwing things away.  There must be a use for them.
So Cricut Blog had a mini made with CD's.

Here is my simple version.  I used Echo Park for the Record - 3 sheets of 12x12. I had some that have the 4 6x6 patterns on one sheet and 3 pieces of 8.5x11 black card stock.  I made the flowers with punches and Cricut Cartridge - Flower Shoppe.

Love the little spiral flowers on this cart.

This is a center/first row image - just a bit smaller than 2".  Cut and then the rolled flower.  I do start from the outside and stack it on the center with glue to hold it.

Butterfly dipped in Utee

Butterfly cut at 2" with MS Elegant Cake.  Dipped in the Utee in my melting pot.

My New Punch Storage

I love this.  I don't have wall space to put my punches on the wall, so I went to Ikea (way fun of course)
and got the 26" wide Alex drawers.

The drawer unit is on casters and fits perfectly under my desk top(with room to spare)  which sits on top of 2 Jet Max cubes.  It has 3 shallow drawers and 3 deeper drawers.  Bigger MS punches fit in the deeper.  Corner punches only fit in the shallow if they are laying on their side.

This horse is over 10 years old and has to appaloosa parents. She finally has some spots.

Can you believe it?  I won 2 tickets to Creative Escape  in Chandler AZ.

I sent in the cards that I made for Stephens card project and I won.  wooo hoo.


Now just need to get my tush to Chandler AZ August 25th.

Believe it or not, this IS my happy place.

So my friend Dee thinks she wants to see my craft room.  This is my craft/office and some storage for crafting supplies for my Home Childcare business.

My room is 11x14. Closets on one 11' end.  Window on one 14' wall, and another window on the other 11'' wall.  I have upper cabinets the flank the window on 11' wall and extend about 5' down the 14' wall to the left of window and about 8' down the opposite wall on the right side of the window.

Pictures start from the door way/entrance and go clockwise around the room.

Under the desk in front of my chair I have jetmax for ink, adhesive and stuff.  The ends of my desks are supported by jetmax also.  Under the desk behind my chair I have plastic drawers that hold my punches.  Hope to replace that with Alex drawers from Ikea

This is my old kitchen.  We added the island when we moved here in 1996.

And now the new kitchen. Replaced all the cabinets and counter and bought a new dual fuel range.
