Today's Project

I painted the dining room over a year ago when we first got this house.  I have Not been happy with the color.  So yesterday I bought some new paint and today I painted.
So far I am liking it.

Halloween Treat Boxes

I decided to make Halloween treat boxes for my co workers. So after 2 days of gluing my fingers together I think I am done.  I used Happy Haunting for the boxes.  For the embellishments I used Happy Haunting, CTMH Artiste, PPDU, October 31, Mini Monsters, Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake, Story Book, George and Doodle Charms.

Quick and Simple Banner

Short notice for her return but I wanted to have something to greet her so I made this for a co-worker.

Made using Birthday Bash for the entire thing.  Pennants cut at 5" I think.  Used 3 sheets of paper for the black and 2 + 1 pennant of the pattern paper.  Letters are cut at 2" on 1 - 8.5x11 sheet of paper

Mine was made for my hair stylist who decided to get married while she was in Maui.

To bind mine I used my sewing machine  and sewed right down the middle . Paper was from several different collections.  DCWV, Echo Park, Coredinations.

Yard Sale SCORE!!!!!

Gotta love yard sales.  Community sale this morning was FUN.
Found a lady the makes cards.  She had loads of stuff cheap.
I got all of this stuff plus another box of misc household stuff for $25.


10 bottles of glimmer mist,  6 bags  of trims, 5 6x6 pads.  Stamps 2 CTMH stamps sets, 2 SU sets one with the punch, 8 cuttlebug folders, Mcgill leaf punch, 19 packages of Petaloo flowers and 8 rolls of American crafts  rose ribbon.  

and she still had loads of stuff left.

We got this new little guy this morning.  He doesn't have a name yet.

The mini I made for Julie

I got this idea from Heidi Swapp http://www.mycraftchannel.com/Shows/Create-to-Remember/?omedia_id=674 and thought it was cute so I made it for Julie's bday present.

Started with a little white jewelry box from the craft store.  Tossed all my boxes when we moved or I'm sure I could have found one in the attic.

Baby Name/shape book

My Cousin and his wife had a baby boy Feb 28.  Finally getting this done.

A couple cards.

Cricut Wild Card cartridge to the rescue.  Needed a graduation card.  Simple with WC.  Used DCWV Chalk board paper for the envelope.

Second card is of course a birthday card for one of my old daycare girls.  She is now six.

Shoe Bags to the rescue

So last november we moved.  I have a new craft space, bigger I think but I have extra furniture in it and it is just different.  I have been struggling to find storage for my ribbon.  I used gutters at our old house but I don't have room for them here so.......I had an idea and I think I like it.  My ribbon is visible and I even have expansion room.

And in my pantry I use one to store my muffin mixes and snack bars.
