Creative Escape - Wow

Here is the young man whose idea made it possible for me to go to Creative Escape.

I made 60 cards and sent them to Bazzill, for that I got 12 entries to the drawing to win 2 tickets.

And.......they picked me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DINA!

I made this for one of the Pita Babes.  Her birthday is July 31.  She got it in the mail today so now I can show you all.  There are more Pita Babes but they didn't get their pics to me sooooooo.  Send them to Dina and she can add to the book

And..... I even added lots of HOT MESS to the binding wires.

SIMPLE as in plain and easy CD mini

So I have a pile of old CD's.  I am bad at throwing things away.  There must be a use for them.
So Cricut Blog had a mini made with CD's.

Here is my simple version.  I used Echo Park for the Record - 3 sheets of 12x12. I had some that have the 4 6x6 patterns on one sheet and 3 pieces of 8.5x11 black card stock.  I made the flowers with punches and Cricut Cartridge - Flower Shoppe.

Love the little spiral flowers on this cart.

This is a center/first row image - just a bit smaller than 2".  Cut and then the rolled flower.  I do start from the outside and stack it on the center with glue to hold it.

Butterfly dipped in Utee

Butterfly cut at 2" with MS Elegant Cake.  Dipped in the Utee in my melting pot.

My New Punch Storage

I love this.  I don't have wall space to put my punches on the wall, so I went to Ikea (way fun of course)
and got the 26" wide Alex drawers.

The drawer unit is on casters and fits perfectly under my desk top(with room to spare)  which sits on top of 2 Jet Max cubes.  It has 3 shallow drawers and 3 deeper drawers.  Bigger MS punches fit in the deeper.  Corner punches only fit in the shallow if they are laying on their side.
